Prof. Jerzy Bralczyk

A linguist, he teaches rhetoric at the Institute of Journalism of the University of Warsaw and SWPS. A specialist in media language, politics, advertising, and public speaking. His popularization work plays a significant role in his career – in the areas of language accuracy, especially public language, as well as the language of politics, advertising, and law. For years, he has consulted for various institutions and is invited to speak at internal industry conferences. He also frequently serves as a linguistic expert in conflict matters and serves as a juror in linguistic competitions. Professor Jerzy Bralczyk's radio and television programs, including those aimed at viewers and listeners abroad, have had and continue to have a large audience. He lectures at the Institute of Journalism of the University of Warsaw. I am the Vice-Chairman of the Polish Language Council. He is the author of numerous articles and scholarly books, as well as press articles promoting language knowledge. He has trained, among others, employees of public administration and major companies in the field of rhetoric and spoken language culture. Author of publications on language culture, advertising, and persuasion, including "500 Polish Sentences," "Language for Sale," "It's Said: Language Tips...", "Hit the Road!!!," "Eat!!!," and many others. Professor Jerzy Bralczyk was awarded the Gold Cross of Merit (1988) and the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (1998).
