Adam Mokrysz

CEO of the Mokate Group The successor and leader of the family business, the Mokate Group, acquired his knowledge and skills working from the ground up in marketing, purchasing, and sales. Thanks to his 20-year commitment to B2B and B2C product development (retail, branded, and international), as well as his work on increasing exports by reaching markets in over 70 countries, the Mokate Group is now a leading Polish food exporter, with exports accounting for 80% of its revenue. In January 2016, he assumed the role of CEO of the group, responsible for developing new business directions and creating and developing the company's international identity. He is recognized internationally as a leading expert in the FMCG industry in Central Europe. He has received numerous awards and distinctions for his work, including: Silver Cross of Merit 2018, Polish Business Leader, Golden Super Caesar of Silesian Business, EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018, Manager of the Year 2017, Business Champion – Succession Category 2018, Investor Without Borders 2019, ENTREPRENEUR MAGNUS 2018, Outstanding Entrepreneur – Polish African Business Achievements 2019, BrandMe CEO of Forbes Magazine 2022. He graduated from the Karol Adamiecki University of Economics in Katowice (major in management and marketing). In 2004, he earned a master's degree in International Trade from the University of London. In 2008-2009, he completed the IMD-AEDP – Accelerated Executive Development Program postgraduate studies at the University of Lausanne. In 2012, he earned a PhD in economics – management sciences from his alma mater in Katowice. He has been playing chess since childhood, which he popularizes in Poland. He supports the development of local communities through the Polish Chess Federation's "Education through Chess in School" project. He regularly co-organizes chess tournaments and championships under the slogan "Mokate stimulates thinking." He is a committed and active partner of the Polish Chess Federation. Adam Mokrysz's long-term goal is to introduce chess into primary schools as a compulsory subject. In his free time, he enjoys diving, table tennis, and basketball. He is fascinated by the African continent. In his private life, he is married to Katarzyna Mokrysz and the father of three children: Teresa, Kazimierz, and Adam.
